Akinyemi is a Partner at PwC Kenya and the Sustainability and Climate Practice Leader for East Africa. He leads Capital Markets and Corporate Reporting Advisory Services in the region, advising organisations on sustainability, corporate reporting, finance transformation, digitisation, and capital-market transactions.

He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrated Reporting from the University of Pretoria, a BSc in Engineering Physics, and is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya, Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and certified public sector accountant.
