AGRICULTURE PARAMETRIC INSURANCE WEBINAR
AGRICULTURE PARAMETRIC INSURANCE WEBINAR
TRAINING OVERVIEW
Parametric insurance provides a payout based on the occurrence of a predefined event, measured by a specific parameter or index, rather than the actual loss incurred. It offers a modern, efficient alternative to conventional insurance, especially suited for situations where quick financial support is critical. Its growth reflects a broader trend towards innovative risk management solutions that leverage data and technology to address complex challenges.
The aim of this training is to highlight key parametric agriculture insurance solutions in the market, their respective features, critical underwriting requirements, and claims administration processes. The desired goal is to equip participants with an understanding of the core principles of agricultural insurance and its pivotal role in risk mitigation.
